As of 7am, I am freee!
Thanks to Paulo who was with me until.. 4am? He probably got bored with me and gazed at the stars instead. HAHAHAHAH. I kid!!

No more papers, no more exams, no more groupworks and activities, no more, no more, NO MOOOOOOOOOOOORE!

Well, for 3 weeks.

Might as well get my well-deserved R&R and make the most out of it!

For the 3 weeks I'll be having my neurons fire less frequently, I intend to...

Out of all the things on my wishlist, I only got one.
So here's the deal. My friends and I were supposed to grab lunch today in Greenbelt before going to the Japanese Film thing I had to attend.
Then, Kamille wouldn't be able to make it kasi she has to be the driver for her mom.
Dianne and Janie were doing their thesis naman at 10am.
So, I concluded that it's just Julienne and me who were going to Greenbelt, and their excuses were not suspicious naman since it's a Sunday.

Then, when I was on the train, I called up Dianne kasi she told me that the thesis thing didn't push through na. After a few minutes and calling her up several times, she told me na she couldn't go na kasi Ate Luz, her cleaner, was there.

I called up Janie rin, but she said sa gabi nalang daw siya sasama.

So, whatever.

Julienne and I met in Powerbooks nalang. Then she was browsing through a lot of cookbooks. And was looking for Rachael Ray's. And she kept on texting pa. I asked her who she was texting with, tapos sabi lang niya, "DJ." (her boyfriend.)

Anyway. She bought a magnet pa. hahahah.
When we were going down na sa escalator, there was a mass on going. She did the sign of the cross and then said na magpray muna kami. I was like, "WTF." hahahahaha.

Then we saw Michelle, yes Louie's Michelle. Tapos after that she pulled me hurriedly dun sa may side ng driveway.

AND THEN...

There they were! Janie and Dianne in Kamille's car. With a small Bizu cake and balloons pa on the car! Parang motorcade. HAHAHAHA.

I was so surprised! I shouted pa ata and then a lot of people were looking daw cause the mass just ended.

After dining in Kitchen, we strolled to Greenbelt 5 to check it out. And to look for the black metallic logo Havaianas that I wanted.
Greenbelt 5 is empty. HAHAHA. And they didn't have stock of the design I want.
Went back to GAS, wala na ring black.

So Janie and I headed na to BDO South Tower for the film. We watched Abduction. Gaaaad. Nakakaiyak siya. Anyway.

After that, I went to Mall of Asia kasi Julienne and Dianne were there na. They were playing dance revo. And they were sweating na. HAHAHA.

Went to All Flip Flops, and no black metallic logo Havaianas in sight. PFFFFFFFT.

So we ended up eating in Gerry's Grill na.

3 cab rides. 3 Havaianas stores. 3 friends who made excuses.

Weeeeeeeee!

And a lot of people who greeted me. :P

i have every right to whine and bitch about this stupid whateverscientificnameitis.

i hate not having to wash my face because i am, well my mom is, scared the the scabs will fall off with the water and leave a hole in my face.

i hate not being to scrub my scalp well.
i hate wincing in pain when i shampoo my hair.

i hate not being able to sleep well because all the sores in my scalp hurt too much when i lie down.

i hate not being able to eat egg, chicken, and seafood.

on a lighter note,

i love that i got to catch up on tv shows and movies.
i love that i got to "relax" a bit.
i love that all i have to do is lie down. haha.

i love that i lost 4 lbs. without doing nothing.

this day is... i don't know. haha.

okay. first off, i brought my blue Kipling bag. it's a small one lang.. then i had my sort of plastic envelope containing papers and stuff. then comes janie with my photocopied articles. (thanks janie!) and ta-dah! they wouldn't fit my envelope.

this is where kamille becomes the bida. she told me that we could exchange bags. :)
she lent me her Gucci bag! yay . super thank you. hahaha.

then comes my tita. she was just supposed to get empty ink cartridges from me. but she told me na uwi nalang ako sa kanila then hahatid nalang niya ako sa gabi.

i thought i would get to finish my philper readings. pero ayun, as i was opening kamille's bag, she called me to bake with her.

we baked a loaf of banana bread! hahaha. the outside is kinda overcooked. but the inside part was yummy. :P

i did most of the work though. hahaha. nadine mashed the bananas. my tita, put the pan in the oven. hahaha.

and... it was my first time to bake!

LAS VEGAS - Sour grapes from Kanye West — again. Shut out at the Video Music Awards, Kanye West threw a tantrum Sunday night in front of media and crew backstage as the MTV show was ending.

West, waiting for an elevator in a crowded hallway, began yelling about losing all five categories for which he was nominated.

"That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance," West said, stomping around his entourage and directing his comments at a reporter. "I'm trying hard man, I have the ... number one record, man."

West said he never will return to MTV.

The rapper was nomination for five awards, including male artist of the year. This is the latest in a series of awards show outburst for West. Last year, he crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Awards after not winning for best video.

LAS VEGAS - Somewhere, Kevin Federline is laughing. An out-of-shape, out-of-touch Britney Spears delivered what was destined to be the most talked about performance of the MTV Video Music Awards — but for all the wrong reasons.

Kicking off the show Sunday night with her new single, "Gimme More," Spears looked bleary and unprepared, much like her recent tabloid exploits on the streets of Los Angeles. She walked through her dance moves with little enthusiasm. She appeared to have forgotten the art of lip-synching. And, perhaps most unforgivable given her once-taut frame, she looked embarrassingly out of shape.

Even the celebrity-studded audience seemed bewildered. 50 Cent looked at Spears with a confused look on his face; Diddy, her new best friend, was expressionless.

Some comeback. Breathlessly hyped by MTV as the evening's most anticipated performance, it became the most shockingly bad of the night. Jive Records might want to push back that Nov. 13 album release date.

The VMAs had better luck with their own reinvention on Sunday. After suffering poor reviews and a decline in ratings over the last few years, MTV moved the show to Las Vegas' Palms Casino, shortened the show from three hours to two, and changed the show's setup to focus more on performances than awards. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and the Foo Fighters each hosted separate suite parties, where much of the show's performances were held.

Thankfully, after Spears' dismal start and an awkward, off-color intro by comedian Sarah Silverman, the show rebounded with several exciting performances. (There was even more drama in the audience: an off-camera fight broke out between Pamela Anderson exes Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, leading Diddy to remark: "It's not just the hip-hop artists that sometimes have a problem.")

Timberlake's suite was packed with revelers, alcohol and eight lingerie-clad stripper types on raised platforms. Before he accepted the Quadruple Threat of the Year award at his suite, the DJ summoned the partygoers to watch the monitor and go crazy if Timberlake won.

He did, they did, and Timberlake said: "I want to challenge MTV to play more videos!" Then he was whisked away by bodyguards and disappeared.

Timberlake was the night's big winner, with four trophies. After accepting the award for Male Artist of the Year, he jabbed at MTV again: "We don't want to see the Simpsons on reality television" — apparently he's not a fan of either Jessica or Ashlee's MTV shows.

Meanwhile, Rihanna won the coveted Video of the Year for her metallically inspired "Umbrella," and Monster Single of the Year for her ubiquitous hit "Umbrella," and Beyonce and Shakira won Most Earthshattering Collaboration for "Beautiful Liar." Beyonce's shimmering gold dress barely contained her top; immediately after she picked up her trophy, she asked an assistant backstage to help fix her dress, apparently to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.

Other performers were appearing on the show's main stage, in front of an industry-only audience seated at tables, like at the Golden Globes. Chris Brown gave one of the evening's most extravagant performances — a dance-centric, eye-popping spectacle that channeled Michael Jackson, right down to a brief "Billie Jean" imitation.

Alicia Keys had the evening's most rousing performance, debuting her new song "No One" and then an inspired, choir-backed cover of George Michael's "Freedom."

While performances like Keys and Spears were delivered on the main stage, others were delivered in snippets: Akon crooned a bit of his "Smack That" before an award was announced, while the cameras zoomed in on performances from Fall Out Boy and the Foo Fighters mid-performance in their suites, giving viewers the sense that they had happened upon an intimate concert. Cee-Lo delivered a rocking version of Prince's naughty classic "Darling Nikki" in the smoky Foo Fighters suite (where a beer bong was in operation as Dave Grohl danced, sang Cure songs, played air drums and posed for snapshots); Soulja Boy was showing Kanye West his "Crank That" dance in West's suite.

Though the suites appeared to be chaotic parties, the MTV-cast revelers were carefully organized and strategically placed for the cameras. In another suite, the MC encouraged everyone to drink and keep the energy up.

Choreographed or not, Timberlake and Timbaland's joint suite looked like the most exciting — T.I., buffeted by pole dancers, delivered a rousing version of "Big Things Poppin'" while 50 Cent stopped by to perform "Ayo Technology" with Timberlake and Timbaland.

Not to be outdone, T-Pain and West danced high atop Las Vegas in one of the Palms' balcony suites as they celebrated "The Good Life." And Lil Wayne, doing double duty in the Fall Out Boy suite after opening the pre-show with Nicole Scherzinger, was particularly animated.

But the TV audience never got full views of those shows, though MTV promised viewers more via its Web site and other "remixed" versions of the show. That might have been the purpose: to whet appetites for repeat viewings by promising glimpses of what they missed during the traditional broadcast. And unlike in recent years, there was plenty reason to come back for more.

I am still talking to Yumi over at YM, and blogs became our topic.
Funny how I've started blogging in Blogspot, migrated to Multiply, to LiveJournal, and now I sort of manage to keep the 3 blogs.

What I like best about Blogspot is the availability of skins, and it was really easy to use. But come the tie-up with Gmail, Blogspot became a major pain in the ass. So I transferred all my entries to Multiply. Besides, in Multiply, I had a greater share of audience, and keep my entries private. Private, like for FRIENDS only.

After that, I joined the LiveJournal bandwagon since almost all of my new found friends are on LJ. (Bloomies, this is the part wherein you get touched.) What I loved about LJ was the uber privacy they can offer. Well, it was the same with Multiply. Stupid me.

See, I am a frustrated writer. Not that this is the only thing I am frustrated at. (The list goes on, I swear. I am the most talent-less person in this world.) Did you know that the course I applied for in UP was Journalism? HAHAHAHA. I didn't even know it was a quota course!

Anyway.
I miss the days wherein I tire myself from hunting the best skin in BlogSkins, editing html, and shit. I can't do much now on LJ and Multiply. :(

P.S. My mind just shut down on me. Couldn't write anything else.

Okay, there were signs that I shouldn't have gone to school today.

1. waking up at 6.45am and slept again for 15 mins.
2. waking up at 8.15 am
3. too tamad to put makeup on
4. too tamad to even put moisturizer on

It was actually my first time makin lusong sa Taft. Imagine having to walk dun sa maliit na daanan beside mcdo going to the gate, as in one foot at a time. was rushing cause i'm running late for class. come SJ walk...

parang stampede (well medyo!) ang mga tao saying no classes na.

i was like, wtf putangina talaga.

anyway. not all bad things end up bad cause i ended up socializing in the train. :">

Okay so this happened a few days ago.
Music playing : Transformers theme

Joshua starts counting.

Joshua: 5 lang sila ah!!
ME: ha?
Joshua: sabi 6 sila!
ME: sino nagsabi?
Joshua: yan o! 5 lang kaya sila! (Transformers, more than meets the eye...)

To further prove that he's right...

Joshua: si ano, si ano, 2 yung yellow, si megatron... at si ULTIMATE PRIME!!!

Okay, this happened today.

JEFF: mommy, 81 ako sa sibika at sa (i forgot what subject) tapos 79 ako sa language.
MOM: wow, ang galing galing naman!
(kasi he repeated a grade eh.)
JOSHUA: mommy, 50 over 50 ako sa science.
